Flights to Israel cost an extra $20 for the JetBlue flight from New York to Tel Aviv, according to a new flight booking website.
Flights to Tel-Aviv are currently $70 for a roundtrip ticket and $100 for a business class ticket.
But JetBlue is planning to increase the cost of flights to Israel from New Yorkers to $85 for roundtrip and $110 for business class.
JetBlue is launching the new website Flights Israel, which will provide customers with a direct link to a flight reservation.
“JetBlue’s partnership with Israel allows customers to get to Israel for an additional cost by booking a flight on JetBlue to TelAviv.
Israel offers more options to travelers than anywhere else in the world and the new site will make it easier to book a flight to Israel and make travel a breeze for all,” said JetBlue in a statement.
Israel’s airport is one of the world’s busiest, according a report by The Wall Street Journal.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited Israel in April, and he and his wife Sara Netanyahu flew to Tel Aviv for a family holiday.
A new airline will be launched in Israel in the near future.
JetBlue announced a partnership with United Airlines to expand service to Israel in October.
