The price of a Southwest flight from Mexico City to Denver will be $739 in one seat, and $2,199 in the other, according to the airline.
That’s down from the $839 Southwest flight between Denver and Mexico City from June 30.
Southwest says the drop in the price of Southwest flights to the United States has come from its new business-to-business fares.
Southwest Airlines, headquartered in San Antonio, has been offering business-travel packages since 2011.
Southwest’s flights to Mexico are priced lower than those on other carriers, but the price drop comes on top of Southwest’s lower fares on its international routes.
Southwest also has been experimenting with low-cost fares.
Last year, the company said it would offer a “one-way flight to Mexico City for $200 less than a domestic flight.”
But a new flight from Los Angeles to San Francisco will cost $349 in one-seat or $329 in the others, according in-flight entertainment and amenities.
In addition, the airline has been dropping prices on its business flights.
Last month, it dropped the price on its Mexico City-San Diego-Los Angeles flights from $1,159 to $934, and the price for its flights from Denver to Mexico will drop to $1:49.
And last month, the same airline dropped the prices of its flights to Houston and Atlanta, from $639 to $699.
