Why you should never, ever cancel your flight, says the man who was left stranded by an airline


“When I landed in Honolulu I was very nervous and my mind was racing, trying to figure out where I was and how I got to the gate.

It was the most stressful time of my life.”

“It was the first time I had ever flown without a ticket in a long time, and I thought I was going to have a very hard time getting through security.

I didn’t know what I was getting myself into, and the plane was full of people who didn’t speak English.”

After the flight, I was told to pack up and go to my hotel, which was right next door to the airport.

The hotel was packed, with about a hundred people inside.

I was pretty nervous, but I felt better when I woke up in the morning.

I had just flown a total of seven hours and thirty minutes from LA to Honolulu, and all I needed to do was pack up my belongings and walk out of the airport, and it would be perfect.

It wasn’t perfect, though, because I was stuck in a hotel that was not even air-conditioned, and there were only three other flights left.

“The only way out of there was to go to the U.S. Virgin Islands, and that’s where the majority of people stayed in the area,” he said.

“And the airport was full.

So I had to get to the Virgin Islands before I could get my luggage.”

After arriving in the Virgin islands, I packed up my stuff and headed for the airport to get on a plane.

But that flight was delayed for over an hour because of a security issue.

In an effort to make sure my flight was in the best possible condition, I checked the status of my ticket on my phone, but that didn’t show any problems.

I checked with the airline and the baggage claim desk, and they both said the issue was related to a missing flight ticket.

So I went to the airline’s customer service line, and was told I would need to call back a few days later to update my ticket.

I called back, and a couple of days later I got an email saying my flight had been cancelled.

I thought, ‘Okay, that’s a relief, I’ll just pay my ticket and go.’

But when I got on the plane, there were a lot of people around me, including my wife and kids.

There was so much people who were asking me questions about the flight.

I told them about the problems I had been having with my flight, and about the difficulties I’d been having, and how much I’d had to do to get my flight to the United States.

They asked me, ‘What are you going to do?

Why are you so upset?’

I said, ‘I’m just trying to get out of this situation, so I’ll do what I can to help you.

I’m just going to pay my flight and move on.’

I was told by my airline that if I did that, I’d be out of luck.

They said, ‘(You’re) going to be stuck in Honolulu for five or six months and they’ll have no way to let you leave.

It’s not like you can just come back.’

I was really scared, and if that didn, you know, get my passport back, it would’ve been devastating.

“I didn’t get my ticket until the following morning.

The following day, I called back to tell them that I’d gotten my ticket, but there was a delay, and my flight wouldn’t be departing until the next day.

After waiting a couple days, I finally got my ticket for the flight I was supposed to be flying, and when I went through security, I had my passport, the boarding pass, and everything.

I wasn’t going to leave Hawaii with just a few bags and a few belongings.

My flight took off the next morning. 

After I landed, I told everyone that I was leaving with my passport and the boarding passes.

I told them that if they needed anything from me, I would take it from them, and then I would be going back to LA to get it.

Then I went back to the hotel and took off my luggage.

I packed everything and left.

When I got back, the next thing I remember is the security guards and airport security saying, ‘We’re sorry, but we can’t let you in.’

That’s when I was just kind of stunned.

I don’t know if it was the stress, or if it just wasn’t what I wanted.

I left with all my belongings, and went home.

I went home and told my wife, and we were in a terrible situation.

My wife said, “We should’ve done something about this earlier, but the last thing we need right now is for the airline to
